Job Description
Versatile near to recent FCAS sought for exciting growth opportunity in a unique, non-traditional actuarial role providing interesting and challenging work at the intersection of insurance, banking, and investments. Joining a nimble team of portfolio experts who work collectively to provide unparalleled specialty reinsurance solutions and are responsible for setting reserves on insurance exposures, performing valuation on complex investment and derivative contracts, and supporting financial reporting, regulatory functions, and strategic research initiatives. Looking for someone with 4-6+ years' experience including reserving and valuation, capable of analyzing and synthesizing data, and looking to take ownership of projects while growing with a company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and willingness to learn new concepts a must. Flexible NYC-hybrid work environment with a great company offering ~$150-250k base salary plus competitive bonus and multiple paths to leadership!
